Vases with fish and pheasants motifs by Nils Thorsson for Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. Nils Thorsson was very inspired by nature as well as by the sophisticated porcelain from China's Sung-period, the faiences from Persia and the works of the Danish potters from the stone age. The three vases are in excellent condition. They are all marked with the signature of Nils Thorsson and the marks of Royal Copenhagen. Height from left to right: 23.5 cm/9.25 inches/26 cm/10.23 and 18 cm/7.08 inches.

This huge and elegant figure from the Danish pottery Michael Andersen & Son is called Rebekka. The design of Rebekka was made by Svend Nielsen around 1930. The figure is signed with the initials of Svend Nielsen "SN" in "cloth" near base of the figures backside. This particular figure is produced between 1950 and 1960 and glazed in the Persian technique which earned the Michael Andersen studio a gold medal at the World's Fair in Brussels in 1935.
