A small drop-shaped vase with a sprouting neck and small mouth. Made of very thin, porcelleanous stone ware by Carl-Harry Staalhane. The piece has been decorated with a superb hare fur glaze in brown, beige and deep, green tones. Signed: CHS, Rörstrand, Sweden. From the late 1950s. H 12.5 cm. Condition: Very fine (filing where glaze was pooling at the foot rim).

This porcelain figural group was produced in Denmark by Royal Copenhagen in 1969. It bears the number 694 on the bottom. It is 9 1/2 inches high, 8 inches long and is 4 3/4 inches wide. The size is quite substantial. It has the artist's name, Christian Thomsen, incised in the base. The group is beautifully modeled with attention to detail.
