This four sided footed bowl in an extremely intense blue haresfur glaze is a fine example of the artistry of Berndt Friberg. On the underside is incised Friberg, the Gustavsberg hand insignia, and the date code of 1956. It measures 2 1/4" high (6cm) and 4 1/4" (11cm) in diameter. Excellent condition.

An superb example of the artistry of Wilhelm Kåge, as represented by his Farsta series of art pottery for Gustavsberg, Sweden. The vase measures 9" (23cm) tall. On the underside is incised Farsta eight times, and in the well is incised Gustavsberg, Kåge, the Gustavsberg Studio hand, and the letter Y, which dates this vase to 1954. The painted number 335 signifies that this object was once part of the collection of the Gustavsberg museum.
