A mint condition 6-1/4 inch tall vase made by Royal Copenhagen in Denmark circa 1920. This is from an unusual line called Alumina that was a response to the Oriental and Aesthetic movement influences of the period. Made of earthenware rather than porcelain, hand-painted, and in mint condition with no chips, cracks, stains or repairs although there is crazing that can be seen in the interior.

An exceptionally rare and important bronze lidded Nils Thorsson vase on bronze base by Knud Andersen. The vase is covered with a dark Solfatara glaze, signified by a bright yellow ring around the ovoid shaped neck, which is also the shape of both base and lid, signed with the KA mark. This particular shape signifies it as a Thorsson piece, who was the only one on RC doing works in this particular design. The glaze has covered the vase leaving a few areas open to the basic glazing, and as a gener... Click for details
