An Art Deco period desk seal, circa 1925. Of cylindrical form with a circular brass base engraved with a monogram. Made of what I believe to be Bakelite in a stunning emerald green color and with a simple decoration of two circular ivory bands. In fine condition. Measures 2 1/4 inches in height.

Unique French figurines. Carved, hand make, art deco animals (a mixture of panther and bear) on teak blocks. The animals are made of bakelite and they are from 1920-30. The two animals are not exactly identical, please have a closer at the pictures. Mint condition. Total height: 3.7 inches Total length: 6.3 inches

1930's Syroco Wood Cocktail Shaker Tray

Really neat 1930's cocktail tray featuring two drunks hanging on to lampposts as handles; other motifs include roosters, martini glasses, liquor bottles, and the music for "How Dry I Am". The tray is made of wood composition, and was probably made by Syroco Wood of Syracuse, NY. There is some surface scratching along the borders.

Set of six Art Deco napkin rings in marbleized rainbow shades of blue, green, pink, purple and red. They look like bakelite, but they are celluloid or a similar composition. The remain in their original fitted box. The top is imprinted "Birmite Regd." Origin: probably English, circa 1930. Condition: napkin rings are excellent; box has tears at the corners. Size: 9/16" wide; 1-3/4" diam.

I couldn't believe how fabulous this set is, when I found it: a cushy case measuring a spacious 7 3/4" x 13", still containing EIGHT utensils with pristine celluloid handles. A couple of items are lost, including probably a small hand-mirror, but you aren't likely to miss them. There's everything needed to do those fingernails in the manner of a Silver Screen Queen. The case could use some leather cream and polish, but even that's in decent shape for its age. ... Click for details
