Charming early and rare latticimo bird with applied beak and eyes. Very old Aureliano Toso paper label to base, by Dino Martens as this label was also used on his meza filigrana pieces as I have provided reference photo. Reference label can be found at:

Very heavy piece. In very good condition with the only damage a tiny flea bite or bubble burst the size of a pencil tip. Measures 5 3/4 inches tall and 5 1/4 inches wide.

Charming and unique vintage Venetian Murano figurine of woman holding basket of fruit. Red, clear, gold aventurine, and green glass with bulicante technique to the pants. Barovier made several items in the 1940s-50's using this color combination. I have the same technique in a bird listed as well (item# 474106). Very beautiful piece of art. In very good condition with a very tiny flea bite to the tip on the back of the piece, on the far right leaf tip, more felt than seen. Measures 11 inc... Click for details

This is a very rare piece of vintage Murano glass designed by Carlo Scarpa for Venini. Based on the two line acid signature to the base this piece was produced in the early 1930's which was the time Carlo Scarpa was brought in alongside of Paolo Venini as art advisor to the Venini glassworks. It was from pieces such as this that Scarpa catapulted himself into the limelight of Murano and World history. What a charming vintage piece of Venetian Murano glass! Formed on a clear base of glass, a gold aventurine candle holder and a lovely blue with gold aventurine glass bird sit side by side.
