This is a truly magnificent dark red glass vase cased in clear glass, entitled " Girl and Dove " ( Flickan och Duvan ), hand-blown by the noted Swedish artist, Edvin Ohrstrom (1906-1994) for Orrefors. Underside is inscribed "ORREFORS ... Ariel nr 467-C ... Edvin Orhrstrom". Depicted in this piece are two primary images: a woman with long flowing hair and a peace dove.
