The art deco pin is made in the form of a phoenix rising, with pave diamonds set in white gold to bring out their brilliance. There is also a strip of sapphires as well as one of rubies adding color to an already spectacular piece! There is a locking pin for added security on the closing mechanism. This is a LADIES 9K BOX with Two Compartments from a Michigan, U.S.A. Estate. The size is 2 3/8" X 1 5/8" X 1/2". The Cover opens to 1 15/16" tall. Clearly marked on one of the side gold panels: 9K (jpgs); the date is 1930-1940 and made in Birmingham, England. Note the Mirror and the two compartments with covers. In EXCELLENT Condition

A simple and elegant 14 carat yellow gold mounted tortoiseshell celluloid hair comb c1910-20. This 4" x 1-7/8" comb has a 14k yellow gold back with the R. Blackinton & Co., North Attleboro, Massachusetts maker's mark and the engraved name Isabelle Carman. We were told that this comb originally belonged to the sister of the famous Canadian poet Bliss Carman, however we have not been able to confirm this. Round open face CYLINDER ESCAPEMENT pocket railroad watch was made in England (case made in America) of 14 karat gold. It has a gold face with an etched bright cut TOWN SCENE at the center. The face is set with black ROMAN NUMERALS and has a second hand sweep. It's back has an engine turned decor surrounding a SHIELD SHAPED cartouche.
