This is a beautiful antique 800 fine sterling silver flat asparagus server. It was made in Germany circa 1920 in a High Art Deco style. The handle has a blossom style pattern around the border, and turns upwards towards the tip. The blade has a chased scroll motif design, and also curves upwards like a shovel. This would make an excellent wedding gift or addition to any antique or collection!

Very nice oval repousse pillbox with cherubs on the lid. Made in the time from 1934-1944 in Florence, Italy – according to the mark. Excellent quality workmanship, with a nice design, a gold vermeil wash inside and a solid hinge. Silver content is the continental standard 800/1000 used in Italy through the mid-1900s. Very nice mustard pot or master salt cellar with lid. Made in the late-1940s in Florence, Italy – according to the mark. Excellent quality workmanship, with four lion headed feet, a rope trim and a solid hinge. Silver content is the continental standard 800/1000 used in Italy through the mid-1900s. The mark is a bit obscured, but clear enough to indicate 800 silver and Florence. The Fascist mark is not present, which leads me to believe it is from post-1944. ... Click for details

This elegant 800 silver basket was made in Italy c. 1960. The basket was done in the Modernism style and stands on a base. The sides of the bowl curve up and inwards, and there is an applied design to either side. The handle was done with a rope design, wrapped around it's center.
