A set of four reverse painted glass pieces of florals and birds. They seem to have been done as two pairs, the larger measuring 10 X 12 1/2"; the smaller ones 5 1/2" X 4 1/2". These loosely done art works- splashy, and bright. These are English in origin and often backed with silver or tin foil. In this case some have foil backs looking like replacements, and there is some flaking of the paint. Fabulous rare victorian gold mesh vanity purse with a unique square shape and mirror inside. It is gold plate and in very good condtion. Lovely sapphire cabachon clasp. Some discoloration to mirror. It measures almost 8" from tip of purse frame to bottom of purse excluding the tassle. Hallmarked Armor Mesh and an M in a diamond.

A fine LADY'S HEART-SHAPED POWDER COMPACT by HINGECO. Circa 1940s. Hinged lid fitted inside with a mirror. The goldtone base still has its original UNUSED powder sifter and powder puff. The base is stamped: HINGECO/MADE IN USA. The lid features a small heart design in goldtone against a green enamel background. In excellent condition. The compact measures 2 3/4 inches by 2 1/2 inches with a depth of 1/2 inch.
