Unique, charming quilt of rabbits and chicks which are rarely depicted in quilts. Blades of grass and animal details are embroidered. Fabrics are arranged in diagonal rows; some of the pink prints are bunnies. Pristine condition; nicely quilted with cabled border and flowers in between the animals. Measures 62" x 76"; Lancaster County, Pennsylvania origin. Circa 1930.

Handsome, Sturdy Italian Geometric Damask Towel

I can see this in a mountain cabin bath, or to add a little elegance to a "guy's" bath! This vintage unused towel is the color of unbleached linen, highlighted by a rust colored thread woven in the drawnwork border, which is stitched by hand. The opposite end has a single hemstitched hem. Excellent condition, freshly laundered.

This sturdy European and so soft linen and cotton sheet has the most precious blue swallows swooping over clouds and the initials PB embroidered on the turndown. The heavily padded embroidery looks hand done but with a magnifier it seems to be hand guided by machine. It measures 66" wide. This sheet is in excellent condition and has years of use and enjoyment to come! I've laundered and pressed it, it's slightly wrinkled from trying to photo it...still ready for you to use immediatly!

There's a lovely damask woven foliate and geometric border turning the corners with a center ground covered with trails of foliage in a sturdy white cotton. Both ends have been hand knotted self fringe measuring 4". This sturdy white towel seems unused and I've washed and pressed it for you! It measures 48" x 25". This towel would be so lovely to display and USE!

Extraordinary Grenfell hooked mat that is exceptional in several ways. The pattern is unusual; rarely did they use geometric motifs. The octagonal shape of the rug is also a rarity. The colors are rich and stunning. Condition is like brand new. Original label is present and totally intact. Measures 12 1/4" square. Looks dramatic placed on square or on point. What a wonderful set of 4 cocktail napkins, especially for fall entertaining! The unusual scalloped shape is lovely and I especially love this long shape for draping over your knee or lap! The colors of golden yellow,green and deep burgandy are vivid. The hand embroidery is so precise, obviously experienced and accomplished . They are freshly washed and ironed, but got sort of squashed during my photo marathon. I'll gladly redo them, for you!
