I first thought this large set of napkins was machine made,but after close inspection I believe they are most certain to be hand embroidered,with shadow stithing and even the buttonhole bound scallopped edges. Quite hard to find large sets these days,especially in such perfect condition. They laundered beautifully! A wonderful addition to your collection or perhaps for a bride's trousseau! 5" X 7" fine cotton batiste.
