The intricate embroidery of lobed flowers, detailed shading, and even petit point is almost overwhelming when you look at it closely! The beautiful, fine linen has hand rolled hems.Never used nor washed,but as found,you can see in the photos,that one has a lable indicating it's hand work.The hanky with pastel floral also has florals on all other corners! !4" sq. This beautiful English eiderdown is covered on one side with a beautiful colorful Victorian toile of neoclassic swags and garlands on a neutral pale taupe background. It was most likely custom made. This piece is all about the monogram…combining 3,4,or even more initials ! The white on white stitching is shadow stitched on the back, with just the tiniest little outline stitches forming the design on front,and perfect hand drawn hemstitched hem. This wonderful pair of unused and long stored away American pillow cases might remind you of your grandmother's handwork.
