A Fabulous Faux Bois ( false wood) picture frame. Of course, it's made of wood, carved to look like a tree from the forest! Faux bois from France is very collectible and this one would go with any collection. Please see the close up for details of the carving. Just stunning vintage venetian mirror, c. 1950. It is Murano glass and with tiny little balls around the outside and inside frame and 6 glass flowers with 6 petals. Between the glass and the heavy wooden frame is 24K gold leaf. The mirror itself has a beautiful etching design across the top and another one across the bottom. Just beautiful vintage french heavy gilt bronze ornate photo frame with glass and stand, c. 1930. The ornate frame has wonderful details with fabulous roses, scrolls, swags, etc. It measures 11.5" high and 7.5" wide and accomodates aprox. a 5" x 4" photo. About the only thing I could find wrong with it is it is missing 2 screws on the back. This would be a great addition to your collection!
