Offered here is a wonderful gesso mirror with raised decoration all along the edge. The top of the mirror is decorated with a cherub and tall baskets of flowers decorate the sides. The ground is a deep blue, actually darker than the flash photo shows. The size is approximately 47" by 30". It is in excellent condition, and dates to early 20th century.

Tastefully hand-carved golden Florentine wall Mirrors, in tulip, grape, and leaf motif; mid-20th Century. Each apx. 11.75" x 21" x 1" thick (29.84 x 53.34 x 2.54 cm). "Made in Italy" stamped in black on each frame back, and burned into the wood is Roman logo of "Palladio, Hand Carved In Italy." Normal aging to mirrors, a couple of minor, non-problematic age cracks to the wood. Very good condition overall. Light-weight. c. 1940-1960. $25 US Shipping.

Italian Gilt Wood Mirror

Offered here is a charming mirror, made in Italy in the early part of the 20th century...probably in the 20's. It is hand carved and has gesso under the gilding and the paint. It has wear consistent with it's age, such that some of the bole and some of the gesso shows in places, but I find that to be an asset rather than a deterrent. The glass is new. The frame measures 20.5" by 27".
