This one room doll house I believe is made by Converse. The roof(pressed into the wood tile design) lifts off, The chimney is also separate and the front porch swings open to show the room. The maximum height without the chimney is 6 5/8". The chimney is 1/3/4" tall. The base is 5 1/8" wide and 3 3/4" deep. Here we have a great looking folding screen of room divider size that is covered in antique French prints. The ground is a mellow color of ochre, and it looks rich and old, although I am certain it is early-ish 20th century. It is papered in some type of heavy paper on the back, of the same ochre color. It is tea-for-two time! Two tiny cups with connected saucer, open sugar dish, creamer, teapot with lid and serving tray. Just what the dollhouse doll needs for tea. The serving tray has a diameter of 2 1/2 inches, teapot is 1 inch tall including lid, sugar dish diameter 1/2 inch, teacups 1/2 inch tall and the creamer is 1/2 inch tall. All pieces are in very nice condition. Circa 1920.

Sterling Silver & Mahogany Horse Head Book Ends c.1941

These bookends were a private commission for an English Huntsman in the 1940's. The Sterling silver sculpted horse heads have been gold-plated and mounted onto the mahogany bases. The heads are solid silver and each plate is stamped: Birmingham 1941. The Makers Mark reads: G. Ltd. Each measures 6" tall x 4" wide and deep. Mint condition.

Pair of Early 20th century Teak Monastery Doors

This pair of doors, featuring protective ogres at the top and Nats standing atop lions(gaurdian spirits) below, would have been used as a side or possibly primary entryway to a Buddhist monastery. Dating to the early 20th century, they would have been protected from the worst of the elements by an overhang of some kind, and would have been strapped to a seperate element to turn.
