Late in the 1920s up until about 1950 Tri-ang, earlier Lines Brothers Ltd., made the stylish Stockbroker's Tudor dollhouses which captured the essence of English architectural fashion then and now. This dollhouse is one of these houses. The base is painted green and measures 26 3/4" x 10 3/4". There is a container and metal switch for batteries under it so that lights can be installed, but the house is not, and never was, wired for lighting. Without the chimneys the house is 16 1/2 inches high... Click for details

This little swing would be perfect for the garden of an antique dollhouse. It is only 7 1/2 inches high to the tip of the roof; the base is 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". The swing itself moves back and forth with its tiny porcelain baby in a crocheted playsuit and bonnet. The baby is marked 'Germany'. There is a bit of chipping to the original paint, but otherwise the condition is fine. The fabric roof is also original. Circa 1920.
