These chairs were probably made in the Greater Shanghai area in the 1920s. They are of rosewood or a similar hard wood. Excellent condition. Back splat design is well-carved, the rest of the chair is simple, elegant.

This lovely American Art Deco console table in mahogany dates from the 1940s and was made by Mersman. It features a stretcher, turned circular and stepped-down tapered legs, diamond inlay along the skirt, and wonderful satinwood inlay on top. Measures 36" wide, 15.5" deep and 30" high.
