Attractive bonnetiere made from solid cherry by the middle part of the 20th century featuring a flat molded cornice sitting upon a large recessed paneled door flanked by delicate moldings and revealing an efficient storage area with 3 shelves. The pediment consists of a simply scrolled apron flanked by bold cabriole legs. Overall good condition. Circa date 1940. Dimensions 71”high/ 44”wide/ 22”deep/ 18”deep (interior).

Lane cedar chest restored blond finish, definately a Heywood Wakefield encore line look here. As I understand it Leo Jiranek is the designer of encore line and he sold his ideas to different companies. If this is a myth then here is a great go along piece for the hw bedset! Cedar lined with interior shelf. Face shows what looks like 2 drawers with distinctive encore wooden handles. Restored to as close as possible blond/wheat color.
