This is a terribly cute piece that I found recently in Tampa. It has an Old Florida look and feel to it and is exactly of that early 20th century period. It would have sat on a porch or loggia in a Mizner style house of 1920-30. This stand is 24" high and the top is 11" in diameter. The surface is hammered and retains traces of gilding. This mid-century modern bar cart of polished brass and lacquered goatskin, circa 1965, was made in Italy by Aldo Tura for Carol Stupell Ltd. of New York city. It measures 33" long, 30" high and 15.5" deep. Original casters with quiet rubber wheels. Overall condition is excellent, but there are some noticeable areas on the top surface where moisture has penetrated the lacquered finish. This fabulous mid-century modern armchair by Thonet dates from the 1950s or 1960s, and is in excellent condition. Its mustard yellow colored upholstery is possibly original, shows very little wear and there are no rips or tears. Purchased in 1995 from Amazon, which was one of the leading mid-century modern shops in SOHO (Manhattan, New York City) in the 1990s. Measures 28" wide, 37.5" high and 29" deep. Seat heigh is 17.5". This fabulous rolltop desk was created by the important Danish designer, Borge Mogensen (1914-1972). It measures 35.25" wide, 18.5" deep and 38" high. Desk height is 28.25" and sliding desk surface measures 7.25" deep when pushed in, and 16" deep when pulled out. Overall condition is very good, but there are some minor veneer losses on the drawer fronts, and some scratches to the desk surface.
