This vintage standing stone statue weights 200 lbs and measures 9" by 8.5" by 36". Black limestone was used frequently in Chinese stone sculptures, they are sturdy and often used for outdoor garden landscapes. The Buddha is in Varada mudra, the fulfillment of all wishes; the gesture of Charity. He is holding a begging bowl, in the shape of lotus blossom, this is a sign of the Head of an order.
