Offered here is a very lovely vintage porcelain lamp made in France, 2nd half of the 20th century. It has a very nice footed vase form with lobed sides. The enameling is in imari colors of blue, iron red and gilt enamel on a not-quite-white ground. It has a new silk shade and an old finial. The lamp is marked "made in France" and has a crossed swords mark also. The lamp is in fine working condition and has no flaws to the porcelain vase. To the top of the shade it measures 20.5".

Exceptional! This pair of greyhound Iron Fire Dogs! While they can certainly be used in your fireplace, as the arms are still attached, most of my clients have them made into lamps! They are very handsome, a lovely patina, a mix of paint and rust. But will last for centuries! Measures 5 3/4" wide x 7 7/8" wide. From France, late 1800's.
