Not many of these package survived! This one was found still sitting on a shelf in a drug store that closed shortly after World War Two. It is a World War Two conservation package. Prior to World War Two, the company used metal for their packaged products. Due to rationing for the war effort, they were required to change to paper/cardboard. This old remedy is unopened and is 2.5" tall. THE REQUA MANUFACTURING COMPANY was located in BROOKLYN, NEW YORK.

Offered for sale is a vintage box of Abbott Laboratories NEMBUTOL suppositories that once contained 12 doses. This pharmacy medication is from the 1940s and is in good condition. The label notes that each suppository contained 200mg of Pentobarbital Sodium in a Cocoa Butter base. The box measures just less than 4.5 inches long. Would make a neat addition to your narcotic collection.
