Place the item to be weighed in the brass scoop and add weights to the round brass pan until the scale is in perfect balance. The graduated weights are 1 lb., 8 oz., 4 oz., 2 oz., 1., and 1/2 oz. The scale measures 11" long, and 8.5" high. It is in good working order. Marked Librasco.

9.5” Height x 1” Width x 1.5” Depth (2” square base) Carved out of ironwood, this spoon handle from the island of Sumba has a slightly shining reddish-brown patina. The handle is at least 40 years old. The figure features a smiling face and a symmetrical body in the traditional Sumbanese posture. The stand was custom designed to fit the contours of the handle.
