Hand-carved by a Kenyan artisan … This rhinoceros woodcarving is an outstanding example of vintage African folk art. It is crafted from what looks like finely grained, light and dark teak, and boasts a lovely polish and satiny finish. It measures 5-3/4” long x 2-1/2” high x 1-1/4” wide. It is a splendid old piece—at least thirty to forty years old—and the tribesman’s carving marks are still wonderfully evident.
