Traditional Seminole Indian woman's dress skirt with patchwork bands. This was made in the traditional tribal style with no zipper, hooks or buttons. Closure is secured with safety pins. Skirt is made of high-quality blue cotton velveteen and 100% cotton with masses of rick rack applied. Waist is 29" (adjustable), length is 41", condition is excellent, has been worn. This is a very full, heavy skirt that in my opinion, dates to the middle of the 20th century. Wearable art!
