This decorative, early 20th century pipe-axe (RLK2) was purchased in March of 1988 at a shop in Ft. Collins, Colorado where a Native American named Night Walker was selling items from his personal collection, as well as those from others of the Northern Plains reservation to which he belonged in order to support needy tribal members. The axe, with an 18” long pipe stem wood handle, has an 8 7/8” long cast brass axe head stamped ‘Canada’ and a stamped arrow touch-mark pointed down towards the top... Click for details

This spectacular hand-carved 17” long ‘ceremonial club’ (KJH87) was purchased by Ken Hladek in March 2003 (as he recalls, it was an estate sale and the item number was 0962..."INDIAN TRADE WAR CLUB - LUKA) at a Lolli Brothers auction in Macon, Missouri. The only information that came with this lethal-looking weapon was a note that it was from the William R. A colourful and vintage c1950s-60s Native American beaded bolo tie. It is signed "MRS. LIZZIE (illegible)" on the deersking backing, and the glass beads on this 38" long tie (19" when worn) include green, pink, white, red, orange, yellow amber, metallic and various other colours; it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor stretching of the elastic retaining strap on the deerskin back. This earlier 20th Century Nez Perce Papoose belt (TEH171) is mounted in a glass-fronted shadow box frame. Collected by the late Chester Howard, the 3 ¾” wide by 51 ½” long belt has a beaded floral design and dentalia dangles. With some wear and a few small holes, it is in overall good decorative condition. We will deliver to an address in the Denver Metro area after payment is made.
