This charming 5 ½” long Zuni student bowl (TEH.120), dating into the mid- to later 20th century, is marked on its base ‘G. Hechilay, 2nd Hour, Georgianna’. Intact and in excellent condition, the choice of pictographs adds delightfully adds to its youthful vibrance. This 5 ¼” wide Native American bichrome bowl (TEH122) dates into the 1970s. In overall good condition with some paint loss, it is marked in pencil on the base ‘MGG’, in black ink with ‘Hopi, Arizona’, and additionally, by its last owner in red pen, ‘Jeanie & Tom Howard’. This 6 7/8” wide, gray and white on red bowl (BB73) is attributed to an unidentified potter from the Santa Clara Pueblo of New Mexico. With a somewhat primitive geometric design and its gently scalloped, infolded rim, the bowl is believed to date into the early to middle 20th century. In overall good condition with a few minor rim dings and one small repair on the rim, the bowl makes an impressive decorator and has an early charm that will appeal to many.
