Native American Indian Chief carved wood sculpture. This is a wonderful well executed carving of an Indian Tribal Chief with full feather head dress. This sculpture was purchase on a reservation in the 1960 to 1970's. Measures 30 inches high by 16 inches wide and 7 inches deep. Hand carved by a master carver from a sold block of wood. A rare Northwest coast (probably Haida) carved bone totem pole surmounted by a thunderbird. This souvenir item was probably made during the first half of the 20th Century - circa 1920 - 1950. Condition is very good with no damages or losses but most of the original painted decoration is now missing. Height - 6.25 inches (15.7cm)

This standing pottery figure measures 11 inches high by 8 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches in depth.

It represents a shaman or tribal leader wearing a feathered cloak. It is Precolumbian in style, but may be a 19th or 20th century copy executed in the same style. It is in very good condition, except for a few small losses.
