Extraordinary burnished urn with exotic birds design. This feathered designs were only made for a short period of time in the 1930s and 40s. Rare metallic blue painted in cream tone with gold accents. The metallic paints were not used frequently because of it's high cost. Very good condition. The vase measures 18 inches tall and 27-1/2 circumference at the widest part.

Wonderful Mexican pigskin document box 17" x 10 1/2" x 10 1/2. Hand painted with flowers, doves and landscapes. Removable interior tin lid with a dove painted on it. On the front is written: " Si a tu ventana llega una paloma, tratala con cariño que es mi persona" which is a part of a famous song from 1861 "La Paloma" composed and written by Sebastian Iradier. Fine vintage condition and patina.
