This porcalain snuff bottle is both primitive and charming. I know it is at least 60 years old, and I think is is closer to the turn of the last century. It is marked but the mark has worn off in parts. It has a jade stopper, probably not original but it does fit the piece and the time. It is 2 1/2" tall and has the 8 lucky horses of the emperor of China overglazed on the two sides. This is a really nice bottle.

This unusual fancy snuff bottle was made more than 30 years ago. It is unique in that it is a thin blown glass, not the thicker carved glass of most glass snuff bottles. These are hard to photograph because they are transparent, the colors are lighter than pictures show. This bottle has its original box. It is 4" tall. It has bird like side handles with free loops of glass. Very nice painting of a childs buddha one side and reverse are a pair of poets. Beautiful, unusual and a good addition to a... Old, possibly close to an antique. Delightful painting in reverse of a kingfisher and a sparrow on the reverse. This bottle is a classic old cameo carved yellow on clear layered glass with reverse painting. Larger size of 3 1/2". Original peking glass stopper and bone spoon. These bottles are going up in price for a good reason, they are classic and very well made and painted. The sides have stylized lion faces.

These heavy guage copper with class enamel bottles were made for export at the turn of the last century. I have seen them called "Ferderal Period" They are hard to find now and this one has no cracks, chips or damage which is VERY rare. Wonderful blues, Unicorn beast same on both sides. Great lion face handles. It is a little over 2 3/4" tall. Brass spoon and traditional original glass/brass top. For more pictures or additional information please contact me through this site.

This very nice snuff bottle is hand carved from a very pure honey color of Indonesian Amber. It has few inclusions, and is not put together in reconstituted bits and pieces as are many amber snuff bottles. It represents double luck with two boys and a carp. Very nice bottle that will go up in value. It is 2 1/2" tall, age unknown but not antique. I stand by all information in my listings, if you are ever not pleased due to misrepresentation I will refund your money. For more pictures of any of m... Click for details

Overglaze hand painted then fired onto vitrious glass enamel over copper. This snuff box, was painted by a master of overglaze painting. He was very old when this was painted. The quality of this painting of a Empire period woman is far above most and this piece will gain in value because of the quality of painting. Box is 3" diameter and a little over 1 1/4" high. Chinese artist. No damage. Comes with storage box. Really beautiful piece
