Featuring a fine vintage Chinese jade seal carving with dog shading from orange to green. Could be worn on a necklace as a pendant, charm, watch fob, or just put in a curio cabinet with a collection of jade to admire. Dog is well carved with ball under foot. Base smooth. Gold bail stamped 14k and 585. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, damages or restorations. Minor wear on base rim which shows slight signs of age wear only seen on mega magnification. Interesting Jun glazed bowl from Shekwan. Difficult to date, oldish (at least 30 or 40 years- possibly even Republic). The glaze and shape faithfully recreates the Jun wares of the Song/Yuan era but the slip is a dead giveaway to its Shekwan origins.
