This is an Yixing wine warmer. It is a complete warmer: cover, inside container for storing rice wine during dinner, a large pot for putting hot water in to keep the wine warm. The warmer is in the shape of a drum. The calligraphy on the outside of the pot has been added on the skin after the pot was fired. The pictures tell all. Flawless condition. Made in Yixing, the famous teaware center in Jiangsu province in China.

A charming Yixing teapot in the shape of a pumpkin with the lid shaped as the stem. The boy a light brown unglazed color and the entire piece decorated with enamel flowers and branches – mainly of plum blossoms and their leaves. The teapot measures 4 1/2" in diameter and is 2 1/2" high.
Excellent condition with some light patina and a tiny chip on the bottom of the deep lid which cannot be seen once the lid is inserted in the pot. The teapot probably dates from the first half of the 20th cen... Click for details

A Chinese yixing (I-hsing) stoneware wall vase, circa. 1930. With bluish-green enamel glaze and black enamel plum spray and inscription. The latter indicates the design was after Nantien, more commonly known as Yun Shouping, an early Qing artist. Measurements are 19cm high X 10.3cm wide or 7 1/2" X 4". No damage.

Only a few millimeters in thickness, and measuring 3 ¾” in diameter, this beautifully mottled green, transparent to translucent serpentine cup (PES75) is from the estate of the late Brian Safe. In just about perfect condition, the rim has one tiny nick that is found by running the fingers around the cup’s lip. Yixing Early to mid 20th century height 11cm
The teapot is in the design of a lotus blossom. The lid is a lotus seed pod with movable seeds. The handle is the lotus stem. The bottom has the shape of a cut stem end. The three character seal on the lid reads Shui ? Chen. The well thought out design makes this a delightful object.
