Characteristic under glaze color of rusty red with an iron glazed neck and mouth. Brush patterns and flowing patches. Splendid deep crawling textured orange peel or moon crater surface. We do not read Japanese but have a couple of translators we work with. They suggest the inscription on the bottom of this superb tokkuri says Momoyama. Please examine photos.
