The light yellow background is the perfect color to bring out the vibrant colors of the Catalina Blossom. The workmanship is what you would expect from the Ando studio. The design uses both gold and silver wire with wonderful shading on the bottom leaves. The piece has the Ando seal, comes with original box and is original mint condition. No Restoration. This Japanese cloisonne vase stands 8.50 in. tall by 4.50 in. wide. The background enamel is a light peach with just a hint of red lending a nice contrast to the lavender, maroon and white green centered plum blossoms. The piece is done in two different sizes of gold and silver colored wire. both the top and bottom mounts are chrome plated and show next to no wear. This Japanese Cloisonne Vase stands 10.0 in. tall by 5.0 in. wide. The soft ivory colored enamel provides an excellent backdrop to the wonderfully shaded deep Maroon Rose petals and vibrant green leaves. Gold colored wire outlines the rose blossoms with silver colored wire forming the leaves veins. The top and bottom mounts are chrome plated and show very little ware. The enamel is in perfect condition. No Restoration. Unsigned. Later Showa era.

This charming pair of Japanese cloisonne vases is done in the basse-taille style. Each piece is decorated with two nicely shaded Butterfly Koi done in various shades of orange and gold enamel. The top / bottom mounts are done in brass with nickel plating and the throat and base in translucent green enamel. The pieces measure 3.75 in. tall by 3.0 in. wide and other then minor wear to the nickel plating they are in original mint condition. No Restoration. Unsigned. Showa era.
