A very nicely carved Santo Nino from the Philippines. This figure, the patron saint for much of the Philippines, is almost always diminutive in size, as it represents Jesus Christ as a child. Carved from hard wood, this figure is a good example of a Santos carving by a local craftsman during the early 20th century. It is in an excellent state of preservation, and measures 10 inches tall.
