Antique Qajar Dynasty early 20th century Islamic, Persian ceramic vase painted in blues, green, yellow, pink, brown and grey on a white background and decorated with two birds, possibly Phoenixes. The remaining background is filled in with a classic Qajar floral design. Good condition with slight crazing and glaze irregularities at the bottom. A little roughness in the glaze at the top rim. Approximately 12 inches high and 9 inches in diameter. Weight is 4.5 pounds.

A smaller scale Moroccan shoeshine box
intended for use as a personal valet for maintaining one's clothing and shoes. Various bottles for cleaning products as well as rose water and and other perfuming agents. It measures 12" long, by 11.5" tall, by 5" deep, and weighs about 8 pounds before packing. Although one would usually associate this style of shoeshine box with Turkey, the enameling is consistent in color and texture to Moroccan enamel, and I have seen similar full sized shoeshine box... This unique candelabra features a leafy filigree foliate design. This particular candle holder appears to be well used, with a darker patina on the candle cups and bobeches, It stands straight and stable,and has a mellow patina.
