(Hazel Atlas called this color 'burgundy' when it was originally made, but it's a rich amethyst color. My picture looks a little too brown. Sorry.) Perfect condition. Two are available... This wonderful novelty stem by Morgantown glass features a rooster as its stem. These wine glasses were made in the 1930s and came in 6 colors.... this one has a light blue bowl and foot. It is in excellent, unused condition and stands 4" high and 3" across the rim. This rare and early example of the superb pottery of Ingrid and Erich Triller (TOBO) measures 9 3/4" tall and is 4 1/5" in diameter. On the underside of the foot is painted Triller Tobo. The incredible glaze is a complex of browns and oranges. Excellent condition. There is a very minor glaze eruption (done in manufacture) on the inside of the upper rim, which does not detract at all from the beauty and importance of this great vase. (See photos).

This sparkly cubist vase is Fostoria's very popular American pattern. The fire-polished surface creates prisms of light and bits of color across the cubes. Description: Very rare and well crafted Persian hand made silver cup, depicting Reza Shah Pahlavi, the founder of Pahlavi dynasty on the front and on the side are Sassanian king Anoosheh Ravan and ancient symbol of archaemennid dynasty. The central figures are surrounded on the upper and lower section with the script commemorating the crowning of Reza Shah. The cup is dated 1311 AH which is 1931. The height of the cup is 4 1/4" with 3.5" in diameter...

Rare old Shui ethnic minority baby carrier is from Gui Zhou province China. The upper section is elaborately embroidered using mostly satin stitch technique. The lower section is embroidered with horsehair wrapped thread design. Although this carrier shows extensive use, and shows a bit of dirt, it retains its beauty. Measures approx 20" x 36"

This pair of club chairs that we call Bern Cinema Clair have an rather light tone which is unusual for a pair as old as this. Circa late 1930's, this pair was surely inspired by Jacques Emil Rhulmanns' famous Elephant Club chair. This styling kind of opened the floodgates to more dramatic expression with the form of most French leather Club chairs from that point on. These chairs have some age appropriate wear in the kickpanels below in the front. They have been nourished to maintain suppleness...
