Truly a magnificent piece, with the distinctive "Gold Rope" design of Ercole Barovier. The piece is very tall and flared of the sides and pinched in the middle. This is a very attractive Cloisonne jewelry chest from Inaba. It is a vintage piece, but still there a lot of work that went into this jewelry chest. It is decorated all over. There are two working drawers and both sides of the doors are also decorated. In the bottom area is a wind-up musical mechanism, that does work. The Phoenix Bird decoration on the top is very nicely done. The box is very heavy and it measures 7 1/4 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches deep...

Vintage pair of hand wrought sterling silver and rosewood serving pieces designed & signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Lopburi bronze figure of a Radiant Lokesvara, or "Lord of the World" in sanskrit. Avalokitesvara, the bodhisattva of compassion. Covered in scores of miniature representations of Buddha on his shirt, he also has toe rings one attribute is missing. Size h 4.5" by 2.25" wide some loss from bronze decay , the face though still visible has sloughed off a bit.

Very nice Garuda bronze figure large and very well cast and extensive tooled details. The sculpture has a mounting hole behind the nagas and a hole in the back base for mounting to an altar top. Lord Vishnu's Mount, Garuda, Kneeling with Hands in Gesture of Adoration (Anjali Mudra) very good used condition . Size H 8" w 5" weight 5.9 pounds.

This is a porcelain figurine made in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1950s. The height is 11 1/8 inches, the width is 7 inches and it is 4 inches deep. The model number 1567 is impressed in the base. There are artist's initials impressed in the base. The piece depicts a family of koalas clinging to a tree limb. They are bright eyed and quite adorable. They are hand painted in life-like colors. The group can be viewed from all sides...

Ancient Chinese Possibly Han Dynasty blown glass zodiac bearded snake , blown in multiple colors of glass with surface calcification and slight iridescent decay. Collected in the 90s. Slight chip to end of tail.Size 1.5" H by 2" wide

Korean Silla stoneware rounded pot with lid , the body has an elaborate pressed and incised pattern and the lower section has an olive glaze . The lid missing its finial the pot has rim chips . Rare shape nice design. diameter 4.5"h 3.5".

Kushan Islamic turquoise blue glazed oil lamp with elongated spout, pad base, tall neck and flared rim. The lamp measures 5 ins. in length. The turquoise glaze has a black design detail and a wonderful iridescent surface. The top of the rim chipped, superb color and glaze, and overall a very fine example old restoration and reconstruction as is usual with pottery of this kind. Provenance purchased in Iran in 1968 please see image showing copy of original purchase invoice.
