Meditative calligraphy: Empty Your Heart and Mind by Lee Nam Ho aka Geum Choo (1908-2001). Lee Nam Ho is renowned as a painter. This is a rare and fine example of his calligraphy. 26 x 12 inches, 65.5 x 31 cm.

Gorgeous vintage Hermes silk scarf (“carré”) worked in rich shades of medium blue, cream, golds, browns and greys. The design illustrates various 18th century gilded carriage or chariot wheels, including one emblazoned with an image of the Sun King, Louis XIV. The hand-rolled edges (rolled toward the front) are plump. “Hermès Paris” is worked into the design, as is the signature of the desiger, Caty Latham.

Handsome handcarved wooden ceremonial mask from Kenya. The mask is carved from a single piece of wood. Excellent condition, the back has a screw attached for hanging on the wall. Circa 1970. 12/1-2" x 5-1/4".

This purse was purchased from a very fine estate sale, and the quality of this Judith Jack purse reflects the sale from which it came. The marquisite (pyrite) is "grade A" mined in South America. The stones are hand set in sterling silver. The design and craftsmanship are superb. The lining repeatedly presents Judith Jack's name. The metal cartouche says "Judith Jack, made in Italy." Purse is 5 1/2" by 4 5/8". 1 1/2" front to back. Beaded chain is 11 1/2" end to end.

Large Artist's Proof of Munjado Calligraphy by the Famous Kim Ki Chang aka Unbo (1913 - 2001). Despite being deaf, Unbo was one of Korea's most beloved 20th Century artists. His works are now sought by museums and collectors internationally. This is the original signed AP (Artist's Proof) of this large lithograph, where Unbo gives us a most creative rendering with anthropomorphic figures in the ancient style of figurative munjado calligraphy. 38.5 x 28.5 inches, 98 x 72.5 cm.

This is one of the Steuben animals that I have never seen before. Measuring 5" high, he was introduced in 1974, and I don't know when he was discontinued, but I know he isn't available anymore. He is in perfect condition. It is Steuben number 8293.

It is a true to life nuthatch you might find at your bird feeder. He is perched on a tree stump facing down. They always walk facing down on trees. The modeling has fine detail with attention to feathers and texture. The bird is hand painted and very natural. This porcelain group was produced in Denmark by Royal Copenhagen between 1969 and 1974. The model number is 1107. They measure 6 inches high and 5 1/2 inches wide. They are signed by the renowned modeler, Knud Kyhn. This rowdy pair of cubs are full of action playing. This artist was able to capture the moment in lively motion. They are hand painted in the typical Royal Copenhagen pallet of colors. Condition: Excellent first quality.

A finely sculpted bust of a young man with exceptional patina of finely blended earth and bronze pigments. Physical condition is superb, but a small amount of finish has worn around the left eye and on the top of the head exposing a green substrate, yet harmonious with the earthen finish.
