A Set of Four Gorham Sterling Silver Candlesticks in an Art Deco pattern. Two have the date mark for 1929 and two for 1930, all with removeable bobeches. Dimensions; 6" high x 3.75 at base. Antique Chinese wood architectural Fragment figures and mother of pearl ground. The figures appear to be dancing in elaborate costumes with great detail on the larger figures clothing on a bridge with a red and mother of pearl back ground . Size 4.75" by 6.25"

Pair of English Jacobean Revival flagons. Globular body with scroll handle in brown pottery with granulated salt glaze. Gilt sterling silver neck collar and hinged and domed cover with open scrollwork thumb rest as well as raised foot. Chased strapwork embellished with faces and clusters of fruits and vegetables.

One marked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes with Chester assay stamp and 1911 date letter. The other marked Elkington & Co. with Birmingham assay stamp and 1923 date letter...

George V sterling silver and pink guilloche enamel vanity set. Made by Charles S. Green & Co., Ltd in Birmingham in 1927-8. This set comprises 4 pieces: Hand mirror, hairbrush, clothes brush, and button hook. Mirror and hairbrush have armorial backs and tapering and fluted silver handles with vasiform finials. Button hook handle tapering. Clothes brush tubular. Enamel has wavy and radiating pattern with leafing scroll borders and pendant garlands.

A pair of Chinese famille verte enameled porcelain boxes formed as recumbent quails. Realistically modelled, the feathers under green, aubergine and yellow glazes, the interiors glazed turquoise. The underside of the boxes molded with a pair of tucked-in legs, left unglazed. Resting on carved fitted wooden stands.

American Modern sterling silver flask, ca 1920. Rectilinear and curved; cover hinged, threaded, and cork-lined. Front engraved with a camel, a paragon of drought survival, standing on parched ground with scattered shoots of greenery. In background are palm trees and pyramids. This is an Art Deco English sterling silver globe-shape ashtray with cigarette rest, fully hallmarked for London 1928. This 3-1/4" tall smoking accessory has a square-shape base, and it has the hallmarks for the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, the famous London makers of precious metal items. It has a later-added circular piece of felt added to under the base (which can be removed if you prefer to change that)...

An English sterling silver 2 handle loving cup or large sugar bowl, fully hallmarked for London 1923. It measures 3-5/8" diameter and 2-7/8" tall. This item has never been engraved nor had a monogram. It has very attractive ornate handles and weighs 180 grams. It has a TR maker's mark along with a stamped ROSSI NORWICH 9098 on the bottom for Theodore Rossi. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. This vase was produced by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the vase was produced in the late 1920's. The vase is listed in the Consolidated catalog as the #2753 Pine-Cone vase, and measures 6 1/2 inches high. The glass is light blue with a satin/acid etched interior to give more dimension to the details in the pattern. Excellent condition. See my other listings for more Consolidated Glass.

Very fine sterling silver trumpet vase with a ruby glass liner. The vase's body is intricately pierced in an acanthus leaf motif to show the rich red liner. The undulating flared rim lends a slight Art Nouveau feeling to the overall look. The base is marked for the Watson Co.
