Six(6) Japanese Gilded on Copper Hardware fittings, early 1900's, 2" wide, 2 1/4" deep include long nail, loose 3 pieces fit together tight once nailed in place. One of them has old black lacquer finish and most of gilt finish worn off, no missing pieces.

Large folk art hooked cotton rug of a maroon horse outlined in black and with black hooves and tail trotting to the left against a tan ground with maroon corners and blue bands to enclose the horse. Some of the ground hooked in squares of different shades. Dots of brown for nose, eye and in the tail. 22 by 35 inches.

Republic period, circa 1950, Chinese carved jaded miniature of a carpe fish seating on a lotus leaf with beautiful carved details. It measures 3.5" long, 1.5" wide .75" deep.
Japanese early 20th century earthenware vase by SUIGETSU. The vase has 2 crabs done in high relief on the side. This type of ceramics was originated by artist Yoshikawa Tsunekata during the Meiji Period. The vase comes with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box. The vase measures 6 1/4" tall by 8" in diameter.
Pair of of Chinese antique spinach green jade plaques. Each is hand carved with a scene of bamboo and another flowering plant with butterflies overhead, all within an incised circle border. Gilt highlights the incised design of both. The reverse of each has been left bare. The stands are later.

Japanese multi metal engraved plaque depicting two piebald puppies investigating a rhinoceros beetle among tufts of grass and bamboo. Superb quality work, great sense of volume to their chubby bodies, wonderful puzzled faces, crisp carving, gilding and differently colored patinas, in perfect condition. Beautifully framed (have not been examined out of the frame). Signed GORO followed by a gilded seal. View in sight 5 5/8 x 6 7/8 inches, frame size 7 1/8 x 8 3/8 inches.

17-18th c Bengali solid cast Bronze Temple Krishna statue. Very rare sculpture seldom seen in marble ever rarer in bronze at this size. Dark surface with solid cast base very heavy just under 16 pounds and 14.5" tall base 3.75 by 3.5". Loss of arms as seen in images.
