This is a superior example of the celebrated (Milan Triennale 1951) Jäkälä (Lichen/Sormivaarsi (Finger) vase 3515. Produced 1950-1964. On the underside is etched Tapio Wirkkala 3515. It measures 8 1/2" (21.5cm). Mint condition.
Fleece-lined and hand-made using the old fashioned traditional Chinese methods, only the mid 20th century fabric of the lining and ears identify these shoes as a later made at a later time period. They were probably made by a dotting grandmother and were well worn by a young child.
Northwood Nautilus Blue Opalescent BonBon measures 8"x7"x3.5" high. It does have the Northwood logo imprinted, but very, very faint. Made around 1912, in excellent condition.

Fostoria Heirloom Blue Opalescent Epergne, produced from 1959-1970. This bowl measures 16" long. And, with the center vase, stands a bout 9" tall. In excellent condition.
A Japanese sake ewer (kurojoka) shaped as a minogame (mythical tortoise with a tail that symbolizes long life) covered with mottled brown, gray and yellow glaze, probably from Satsuma province in southern Kyushu Island.
Kuro (black) joka is a container that is used to heat "shochu" wine which is made from sweet potatoes. Shochu, started in Kagoshima area has been a cheaper wine for common people. It is different from "sake" wine which is brewed rice wine...
The bottle flares out at the bottom. The bottom is decorated with six thumb prints that form a flower design.
There are no cracks, chips, or repairs to this item. It is in excellent condition.
