Being offered is an exceedingly rare circa 1965 handmade sterling silver pill box by Janna Thomas of Taxco, Mexico. Handcrafted pill box in a layered rope design with a moving silver tassel finial. Thomas designed for Tiffany & Company before moving to Mexico and opening up her own shop. Dimensions: 1 1/2 inches diameter by 1 inch high. Weight 3 1/2 ounces. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Incredible designer!

A narrow open-mouthed vessel decorated with autumnal trees by Ito Tozan II enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The piece could serve as a vase, but comes with a black lacquered wooden lid and is titled Mizusashi, making it rightfully a fresh water jar for the Japanese Tea Ceremony. Thin Bronze Han Dynasty mirror , silvery bronze front great encrustation on the back in vivid green. The mirror has a clean crack and is in 2 tight fitting pieces. The central knob has a 2 mark inscription. Just over 3" diameter.

DESCRIPTION: A handsome pair of walnut wood Neoclassical style carved and stained candle prickets with circular tops above turned, tapered and fluted shafts with leaf tip ornaments, above swelled bases with splayed feet. 18th c Edo Dynasty cream colored Satsuma censer or Koro , rare design with no decoration , collected in the Satsuma province of Japan . A pair of Japanese Imari porcelain dishes. A later example with Namban (or Nanban - Southern barbarian) subject "Black Ship" dishes. The decoration in the Imari palette depicting Portuguese figures and their famed trading ship, that between Japan and China. Good condition. Showa period, probably mid 20th century. Dimensions: Diameter about 10 inches, Height about 1 3/8 and 1/14 inches respectively.
