This porcelain figurine of a pair of falcons was produced in Germany by Karl Ens Volkstedt in the 1950s. It measures 10 1/2 inches high and 8 3/4 inches long. They are well modeled with excellent detail. See how their eyes, beaks and talons are defined. They are hand painted in natural colors. They appear to be a mated pair on the watch for prey. DESCRIPTION: A lovely set of five red clay Mexican earthenware nesting bowls, dating from the 1950's. The bowls are decorated in fluid strokes of blue between blue line borders on a white/cream ground. The interiors have a line of blue around the inner circumference with dollops of green glaze. Very good condition, no chips, original imperfections that add to the charm. DIMENSIONS: Largest bowl: 10.25 diameter x 4.75” high. Smallest bowl: 5.5” diameter x 2” high.

This is a set of 10 crystal glasses that were made in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s. They are unmarked but the style and workmanship is similar to pieces from that area. They are 3 inches high and the mouth of the glass is 2 1/2 inches wide. They ring when tapped. We think they are cocktail glasses from the shape and size. Each glass is hand decorated with enamel paint with golfers in their traditional dress. The detail is fine. The glasses are trimmed with gold on the rim and foot...
