Japanese Fukagawa, Koransha baluster vase decorated in underglaze red with a leaping carp, on a shaded blue ground, Koransha orchid mark to the base, original wood box (13" x 9" x 9"). Dimensions of the vase are 12" in height and 7" in diameter (at the widest).

Duncan and Miller Sandwich Nappy 6" round bowl with handle. This nappy was made between 1924 and 1955. In excellent condition.

A colourful and vintage c1950s-60s Native American beaded bolo tie. It is signed "MRS. LIZZIE (illegible)" on the deersking backing, and the glass beads on this 38" long tie (19" when worn) include green, pink, white, red, orange, yellow amber, metallic and various other colours; it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor stretching of the elastic retaining strap on the deerskin back...

Cambridge Statuesque Carmen Compote. This the largest of the Statuesque line. Stands 9 inches tall and is 6.5 inches wide at the bowl. It is in excellent, pristine condition. Produced in the 1920's.

Oblong Green Swan celery dish was made by New Martinsville. It is 7" high x 11.5" long and is 4.75" wide. It is in excellent condition.

This very large Faience vase designed by Stig Lindberg measures 15 1/4" (39cm) tall. On the underside is impressed Hand Drejad (hand thrown) and the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia. Painted in blue is Sweden, the number 121-T-621, and the Gustavsberg hand insignia. The artist who painted this piece is Franca Pugno, whose symbol of an x in a box is painted in red. This piece is featured on page 6 of the Faience brochure published by Gustavsberg. Mint condition.

Old Hakoseko (Japanese tissue holder or purse) for times when women wear formal kimono. They are placed in the chest area with the chains of the kanzashi hair ornaments hanging from the obi belt. The beautiful embroidery work (very delicate) on this hakoseko did not show up in the photos. The red color is a much softer tone; this is truely an elegant piece. The chocolate pot is 8.6 inches (22 cm) tall by 7.1 inches (18 cm) wide. The cups are 2.8 inches (7.5 cm) tall by 3.6 inches (9 cm) in diameter. The saucers are 5 inches (12.5 cm) in diameter.
