17th-18thc hand carved hard wood capital or column top from a half column. Beautiful design with acanthus type leafs and flowers with traces of colors . The capital is very very aged on the back the front is stable and solid the back not so much . 5 pieces are available but the price is for each. A Japanese woodblock print titled "Nikko Sacred Bridge"by renowned artist Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949). Inscription and red seal in bottom corner. Born in 1870 near Hamamatsu City (Shizuoka Prefecture) with the name"Sahei." Koitsu moved to Tokyo at the age of fifteen. He had planned to apprentice with Matsuzaki, a carver for the artist Kobayashi Kiyochika, but instead, he became Kiyochika's apprentice and moved into his home to study art and print design...

A very scarce Paden City #300 Archaic style ice tub with the famous Cupid etch. This pink Depression or Elegant glass item stands 4-1/4" high (excluding the 1/2" tab handles) and it is clean with the expected light wear to the bottom and a crisp and vivid etch. A pair of (typically) unmarked Majestic Japanned wood and brass table lamps c1950s. The black painted wood includes the 7 x 4-1/2" base with a crescent moon mounted on the brass upright with a brass ball separating it from the base. They stand 17-1/2" tall including the 12 x 6-1/2" shades, which are of fiberglass with plastic stringing on the borders and a wire cage for mounting on the lightbulb. They have their original cords with Leviton sockets with inspection stickers, and both lamps work...
