Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1116B fan vase in honey yellow green. (This color is a yellow ceramic wash applied over crystal glass.) The vase is approximately 7 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition. Landscape/Village scene with water wheel and Mt. Fuji in the background. Signed and marked "Sterling Silver 950" (see enlargements 5 & 6). According to an appraisal dated January 8th, 1981, the weight is 83.17 Dwt or 4.16 oz. Measurements when closed: 4.181 inches long by 3.076 inches wide by 0.066 inches deep (10.619cm x 7.813cm x 0.167cm).

Condition: Very good overall. Minor scuffing.

This vintage tea and coffee service by Rosenthal dates from the early to mid twentieth century. Included is a coffee pot, tea pot, creamer, sugar bowl, five cups, eleven saucers and 12 plates. Coffee pot measures 9 x 11.5 x 6 inches. Tea pot measures 8.5 x 4.5 by 5.5 inches. Diameter of the plates is 7.5 inches and diameter of the saucers is 6.5 inches. Condition is excellent. Turkish Anatolian carved copper tray. The central medallion features a star of David surrounded by two concentric circles of carved chains. There are 9 medallions alternating with semi medallions and endless knots. There is some brass melded to the copper visible from the back, and to a lesser extent, the front. It measures 21" by .75", and weighs 8 lbs.

This lovely large size furoshiki (wrapping cloth) is probably from the early 1900s to the mid 1900s. The furoshiki is made from hand-span cotton and dyed with indigo. The hand stitching (sashiko) designs hishigata pattern (diamond shape) over the three corners of the furoshiki. Those corners are also reinforced with tiny triangular-shape dense stitches because of protecting them from frequent use...

This porcelain chocolate set was designed by the Austrian-born artist, Maria Schwamberger-Reisser (1896-?) for the Thomas company of Bavaria, circa 1920s. Included here is a pot, creamer and five sets of cups and saucers. (Only four sets are shown in our image.) Each piece carries the gilded mark of the designer, "MS", plus the Thomas and Bavaria marks. Pot measures 6" tall and the creamer measures 3.5" tall. Saucers measure 4.5" across and the cups measure 1.5" tall and 2.5" in diameter...
