This pair of antique Chinese export porcelain vases with lids in the Famille Verte style, have hexagonal baluster forms, measure an impressive 26" (66 cm) tall, and feature gilt bronze mounts in the style of Samson et Cie. Undersides carry the same three character mark in red glaze, which starts with the character Da. We have not yet deciphered the other two marks. Circa 1675-1700 Chinese Export Very Unusual and Rare Octagonal 8-sided charger measuring 12 1/2" in diameter. The Kangxi period is from 1662-1722. Dragons, flowers birds, in garden scene with a peacock. A most unusual polychrome glaze border. The main scene of the bird and a tree is quite wonderful. The colors are just breathtaking. Excellent Quality and in Very Good Condition. Very little wear for a piece this old. 10 Years Ago Christies sold the exact dublicate charger for 7500 Pounds.
