Chinese Qing dynasty oval form reticulated export porcelain deep fruit basket and matching stand, or underplate, covered in a creamy white glaze with a gray tint. The bases are glazed but the foot rim of each piece is unglazed. These pierced baskets are typically found in Canton, Nanking, Fitzhugh, or Rose Medallion patterns. Border VII.3 as classified by Rinaldi in "Kraak Porcelain -- A Moment in the History of Trade" (see p. 106). Dishes found in the Hatcher Cargo belong to this group.
